About the COVID-19 Diagnostics Research Program

We are studying new types of COVID-19 tests. We want to include people from the many neighborhoods that make up our community. This research will allow for the development of tests that are easier to conduct and are more accessible, ultimately making our community safer.

The purpose of COVID-19 Diagnostics Research is to understand the best ways to test for COVID-19 in people who have been potentially exposed to or infected with COVID-19, whether or not they have symptoms. We are prioritizing finding high risk individuals who have been exposed or have a family member diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 7 days. COVID-19 Diagnostics Research is examining a variety of new types of tests that are being developed to find out which tests are accurate, quick, and easy to use. We believe the safety of people who take part in our research is the most important thing.
